Company Seeks Permits to Build Connecting Pipeline to Dakota Access Pipeline

The Epping Transmission Company is the sixth to propose a pipeline project to connect to the four-state Dakota Access oil pipeline being built by Energy Transfer Partners.

If Epping Transmission’s permit for the $6.5 million project is approved, it would add 30,000 barrels of oil to the Dakota Access pipeline.

The proposal involves connecting the Epping Station and Divide Mainline Pipeline to the Dakota Access Epping Facility.

Some companies have already begun connecting projects to the Dakota Access pipeline while other companies are still waiting for approval.

Epping Transmission is still working on acquiring right-of-ways from landowners and hopes to begin construction on the project this year.
